Clients Checklist for mini photo session
The importance of proper preparation for before a photo session with a client can never be over-estimated. As a photographer, you must have a checklist handy. However it can very frustrating when your client turn up unprepared. Here is a checklist prepared for photographers hand to clients to help them get prepared.
PLAN YOUR OUTFITS AND PROPS
Plan your outfits around the most difficult person to dress for (if its a group shoot). Ensure that there is coordination in the colours and style of dressing to be worn putting into consideration the colours in the place you will like to hang your portraits if you plan to go for wall prints as this will reflect your personality and style. Thinks about any props that is meaningful to you (or anyone involved) that can add quality to your pictures.
REST AND EAT WELL
Encourage your clients to get enough rest/sleep (most especially children) before the photo session. Also make sure everyone is comfortably fed. When everyone is happy and active then your are guaranteed of beautiful pictures.
Make sure you arrive 15 minutes early to enable you settle down. Photographers usually don’t joke with their time so you coming late might have an impact the length of your photo session.
Forget every worries and just have fun as this will help produce good images.
PREVIEW IMAGES AND ORDER
Preview your images and signify the images you like however I will advice clients to see their retouched photos before placing order as photographers can wow you with their post production skills. Make informed decisions on the print/enlargement frame sizes you will like to go for.
